What Claribo does with an invoice.
Claribo sits between your inbox and your accounting system. It takes an invoice in, reads it, runs your controls against it, gives your team a place to resolve what needs a decision, and hands the reviewed data on.
Give invoices somewhere to go.
Forward supplier invoices to your Claribo inbox or upload them directly. Attachments stay connected to the incoming email and enter the same review workflow.
- A dedicated inbox address for each workspace
- Supplier emails arrive directly, attachments and all
- Preview an attachment before anything is processed
- Choose which attachments should be processed
- Mark an email as holding no invoice
- Upload files by hand when an invoice arrives another way
- The email that carried an invoice stays attached to it

Every invoice, structured for review.
Claribo extracts the invoice details your team needs — key fields and line items — and presents them in a review workspace alongside the source document.
Configure the fields your team reviews and exports.
Verify invoices against the vendors you trust.
Maintain your vendor records in Claribo and use them as part of invoice review. Verify vendor identity and sensitive payment details before an invoice moves forward.
- Vendor records with the details a check reads
- Tax IDs held alongside the vendor name
- Bank accounts kept with the vendor, not on the invoice
- Account details masked to the last four digits
- Import an existing vendor list from CSV
- Active and inactive vendors, so old suppliers stop matching

Keep the review with the invoice.
Assign work, see what changed, and keep review context connected to the invoice instead of scattered across email and chat.
- Assign an invoice to a reviewer
- Follow the history from arrival to decision
- Acknowledge a warning you have chosen to accept
- Return to the email an invoice arrived on
- Document received by email
- Fields and line items extracted
- Checks run — 4 cleared
- Bank account raised a warning
- Assigned to a reviewer
Adapt Claribo to the way your team reviews invoices.
Choose the fields your team reviews, configure invoice checks, and organize incoming documents around your workflow. Fields can be shown in review and exported independently, so a team can surface a detail without sending it downstream.
Categories start with Month End, Priority, Vendor Follow-up, International and Needs PO — rename them or add your own.
Clean data, ready for the next system.
Once an invoice has been reviewed, Claribo gives your team structured invoice data ready for the accounting workflow that comes next. Export a reviewed invoice with its line items, or take the same data from the API.

Questions worth asking before a pilot
What Claribo does, what it deliberately leaves to your accounting system, and how a workspace is set up.
What does Claribo actually do with an invoice?
It captures the invoice from your inbox or an upload, extracts the fields and line items, runs your configured checks against it, and brings anything that needs a decision to a reviewer. Reviewed invoices leave as structured data.
How do invoices get in?
Forward them to the dedicated inbox address for your workspace, or upload them directly. When an email carries several attachments, a reviewer chooses which ones should be processed, and an email with no invoice can be closed off as such.
Which checks run?
Vendor verification, bank account verification, duplicate invoice, line item total and grand total. Each workspace decides whether a failing check blocks the invoice, flags it for review, or is turned off.
What happens when a check fails?
The invoice is held or flagged, with the reason shown next to it. A block cannot be waved through. A warning can be acknowledged by a reviewer who has decided the invoice is fine to move on.
Do we draw a template for every supplier?
No. Claribo reads the invoice as it arrives, and matches the vendor using the tax ID and name on the document rather than a template you maintain per supplier.
Does Claribo replace our accounting system?
No. Claribo is the review layer in front of it. Reviewed invoices export with their line items as Excel, CSV or JSON, and the posting stays with the system that already does it.

Spend less time checking every invoice and more time resolving the ones that actually need attention.
